I am Elina Jokinen, a Finnish writer, teacher and Ph.D. of Literature. I am also a wife and a mother of four children. I work as a teacher of academic writing in the Language Centre at the University of Jyväskylä.

I have a special interest in writing as a profession, the creative process for literature and research, as well as the field of contemporary Finnish poetry and prose.  I also want to emphasize the importance of writing and literature as a life management tool. Read more.
